Four tips to save on the cost of your Wedding Corset.

Now I have in another article talked about how to save money when buying a made to measure wedding corset. Here I would like to extend that by giving you some simple tips on saving money on your pre made or off the peg wedding corset.

Again the first step is not to mention it is a wedding corset you are looking to buy. That is where the internet is so useful, because wedding sites have to compete on equal terms with normal lingerie sites, so the prices are fairer. Still I would look at ordinary lingerie sites rather than just wedding specific sites and compare prices.

When it comes to buying standard size wedding corsets, the internet is an absolute God send as my mother would put it. You can not only search loads of stores at the touch of a button, but you can also find the ones promoting special offers.

So the second tip for your off the peg wedding corset is to buy a wedding corset that is on sale. Of course you never mention that to anyone unless you are like me and like to tell people just how clever you are at finding a bargain.

Thirdly as part of the price, take into account the cost of postage and packaging if you are buying through the internet or from a catalogue. What I always look for is those that have free postage and packaging, even if there is a minimum order required, as long as I know I will exceed it.

My fourth tip for off the peg wedding corsets is a ‘not to’. That is even if you are on a very tight budget buying normal priced corsets which are super cheap. In my experience the super cheap wedding corsets are usually also super rubbish. Least likely is that they will simply fall apart, but more likely is that the garter hooks will break. Imagine walking down the aisle feeling your stocking slowly slipping down your leg with each step. Not what you want to be thinking about is it?

Now I could add a fifth tip here and say that you can incorporate your wedding corset into a corset wedding dress, but that is for another article.
